The Thalpe Bungalows were beautifully designed and spacious, making it easy for me to navigate as a senior woman. The hotel's decor was charming and had a welcoming atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed spending time in the well-equipped and cool general areas, such as the pool. The accessibility of the hotel made my stay comfortable and enjoyable.

So many fun activities around the area to keep me entertained. The charming Galle Fort was a delightful place to explore, and the cottages and pool at Thalpe Bungalows were perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was a great start to my day.
Oh, just loved the fact that the nearest airport was so conveniently far away. Just what I wanted, a long journey to get there.

Our seven day stay at Thalpe Bungalows was very pleasant. The owner, Murray, and the staff were incredibly service-minded, kind, and helpful. The bungalows had a nice exterior and the interior was clean, modern, and cozy. The bed was super comfy and the pillows were perfect. AC and WiFi worked well, and the roof fans were a nice cooling alternative. The TV had many good English-speaking channels and breakfast was included, which was convenient. Dush, the cook, made delicious Sri Lankan meals. The location was safe and near beautiful beaches. we have only positive things to say about Thalpe Bungalows.
Strongly recommend this hotel.
